Interesting times are certainly ahead. A new release is the Amazon Tablet. The new Amazon Kindle tablet or whatever the name will finally be is set to be released in 2011. The new Amazon tablet 2011 is rumored to be produced in vast quantities, up to 800,000 a month are expected to be produced according to this source.

Sources from component manufacturers tied to Quanta, according to this source have leaked news that Quanta, a Taiwanese Tablet manufacturer will be releasing the new Amazon Tablet PC as soon as the second half of 2011, and I can’t wait.

Amazon PadThat’s right, the Amazon Pad is now available. Below is what was written before we knew what we were going to get. Use our links to read more about the new Amazon Pad 2011.

With the new Amazon Tablet set to be released in just a short space of time there is still some confusion over exactly what it is going to be called. Let’s see just what we may actually be buying and what name it is going to be given, an Amazon Pad has a nice ring to it and it is certainly a snappy name.

What else could it be?

Amazon Tablet

This is what many of us have been calling the new tablet, pretty much as this is what it is going to be, a tablet from Amazon. But many seem to have also thought up their own name for it as well.

Amazon Reader

An Amazon reader sounds more like a Kindle and it is doubtful that this will catch on for the actual tablet that is going to be released. It certainly makes sense for a title for the Kindle though and we may actually find that the new tablet incorporates the best of a tablet and the best of a Kindle too, especially for the more basic model tablet which is set to be released first this year, hopefully in August.

What Else

It does seem most likely that when Amazon release their tablets this year they will have come up with a snappy name for it so that we remember exactly what it is and who produced it.

But the reality is that currently we simply have no idea if it is going to have a snappy name like the Kindle tablet or something totally different. One thing we do know is that the Amazon tablet is going to be a huge success, whatever it is actually finally called.

We have had a little more news just recently concerning the Amazon tablet, and it now seems that one of the new releases is going to be a color Kindle tablet. It sure can get a little confusing so let’s take a look at what now seems very likely to be released this year.

Color Kindle

It seems that as far as the Amazon tablet is concerned we are going to be getting two releases for 2011. If we want to buy a color Kindle tablet then it is going to be one of these releases.

We all thought that we were going to be seeing two tablets and a new Kindle this year but the most likely outcome is two tablets only.

The cheaper and smaller tablet is set to be known as the color Kindle and the larger is going to be the more mainstream Amazon tablet.

A cheap color Kindle tablet is not going to be a Kindle as we currently know it. Rather it will be touch screen and offer a full color display. The battery length is never going to be as good as the black and white (well, shades of grey) Kindle 3 but it will offer a much more versatile and interactive display.

Will people buy a color Kindle tablet?

We think the answer to this is a resounding yes. If it is cheap enough and the battery lasts long enough then there will be hordes of people who will buy this option. Many who own the Kindle 3 are crying out for a color display and if the price is close enough to the current Kindle then it will sell extremely well.

This does all get a little confusing so really we will just have to wait and see just what we do actually get in the end. But it does make sense that the new color Kindle is actually to be a tablet, it will make it very versatile but the one drawback is going to be just how long it can be used for before it needs to be charged. We shall just have to see.

If you want to know what is the price tag of the new Amazon tablet 2011 then the best we can find out is that it is going to be a lot cheaper than the iPad 2.

With Amazon also giving the option for an ad based tablet, as they do with the Kindle, this will also cut the price tag even further. And they are sure to do this. It will mean that they are getting people tied in to using their app store and also sales of e-books will increases dramatically too.

But it is the use of the Amazon Prime membership that is really going to allow them to sell the Amazon Kindle tablet for such a low price. Currently members pay a one off fee and then get video on demand streamed to their computers. This service for the tablet is going to see them able to sell cheaply to get the sign-ups and many will. It will allow people to hook up the tablet direct to their tv to watch movies and for many the cost savings will be enormous. The market for such services as Netflix is currently huge so we will see a lot make the switch.

With not long to wait the Amazon tablet price for 2011 and the color Kindle price is sure to be a real surprise to many.

When it comes to the Amazon tablet, or maybe the Amazon Kindle tablet we are still at the guessing stage. But one thing is for sure and that is that there is going to be a release this year, and the chances are that it will be this summer too, yes, in 2011 for the Amazon tablet.

Great news, and according to sources in the UK and the US we are going to be hearing a lot more about it in the coming months. And it may well even be here by the Summer. A color Kindle tablet and a very high tech and large tablet too.

Let’s face it, the iPad 2 has a lot of fans, but what if you could get something equivalent for a much lower price? Half, a quarter?

Don’t be surprised if the new Amazon Android tablet offers us just that. The Kindle has been selling at a loss since it was released but there is no denying that the number of e-book sales has more than made up for that. We are buying all our books on Amazon and this is how they make their money from the Kindle.

With the new Amazon app store now open in the US, even though it angered a lot of people, there is no doubt that this is a precursor to a new Tablet.

Amazon will be able to corner the market quite well for many Android apps and the fact that their audio and video streaming has taken off in such a big way surely means they are going to want their own device for customers to use? Already free for Prime members a new 2011 Amazon Tablet is sure to encourage more people to sign up.
