When it comes to the Amazon tablet, or maybe the Amazon Kindle tablet we are still at the guessing stage. But one thing is for sure and that is that there is going to be a release this year, and the chances are that it will be this summer too, yes, in 2011 for the Amazon tablet.
Great news, and according to sources in the UK and the US we are going to be hearing a lot more about it in the coming months. And it may well even be here by the Summer. A color Kindle tablet and a very high tech and large tablet too.

Let’s face it, the iPad 2 has a lot of fans, but what if you could get something equivalent for a much lower price? Half, a quarter?
Don’t be surprised if the new Amazon Android tablet offers us just that. The Kindle has been selling at a loss since it was released but there is no denying that the number of e-book sales has more than made up for that. We are buying all our books on Amazon and this is how they make their money from the Kindle.
With the new Amazon app store now open in the US, even though it angered a lot of people, there is no doubt that this is a precursor to a new Tablet.
Amazon will be able to corner the market quite well for many Android apps and the fact that their audio and video streaming has taken off in such a big way surely means they are going to want their own device for customers to use? Already free for Prime members a new 2011 Amazon Tablet is sure to encourage more people to sign up.
But as of yet we have no definite news but watch this space and sign up via the form at the top if you wish to be notified when it is finally ready for pre-order.
