I love the company, love their service and I think that tablets are nothing but awkward computers without the robust ecosystems behind them. I love my iPad, but without apps, iTunes and cloud based services it would be very limited. To me that's the limiting factor in the tablets of other companies. It's just like buying an ereader. You have to know the company is going to have a robust supply for you to take advantage. My only concern about Amazon, is the rumor that they won't have cameras for video chat. I don't know if that is just limited to the smaller device which would be forgivable, or on the bigger one which would be suicidal as far as I'm concerned.
